At OPU, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are critical to our success. DEI is not about enforcing quotas or prioritizing one group over another. It is about recognizing and valuing the unique perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds that each individual brings to the table.

DEI is not about lowering standards or giving certain groups of people special treatment. It is about creating a culture where all employees can thrive based on their talents and hard work.

DEI is not a one-time initiative, but an ongoing commitment that requires continuous evaluation and improvement. At OPU, we believe that by creating a culture of inclusion where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported, we can attract and retain top talent, drive innovation, and achieve our business goals.

How we define diversity:
Diversity encompasses the full spectrum of human differences, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical and mental abilities, socioeconomic status, diversity of thought and viewpoint, political leanings, and religious backgrounds. By embracing this range of experiences and perspectives, we can enhance our creativity, innovation, and problem-solving ability.

How we define equity:
Equity aims to ensure that every individual has an equal opportunity to achieve their potential. It does not mean equal outcomes. In an equitable system, success will not be the same for everyone, but everyone will have an equal chance to achieve success based on their abilities, interests, and effort.

How we define inclusion:
Inclusion means creating an environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and included, regardless of their background. This means promoting a culture of openness, tolerance, and acceptance, and actively seeking out and welcoming diverse viewpoints and opinions. An inclusive workplace is one where every employee has an opportunity to contribute and succeed, and where differences are embraced.

At OPU, our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is in harmony with our aspiration to foster the culture of “ONE OPU.” In this culture, we work as one team, have clarity of individual impact and value, are the standard for safety, and every employee sees themselves as an Everyday Leader.
